Part 11 concludes our coverage of Churchill’s wartime subject files. It starts with the very important files on the United States of America and finishes with the material on Yugoslavia
(especially policy towards General Mikailovitch and Marshal Tito).
- Key topics in the USA files include Munitions and War Production, Destroyers for Bases Agreement, Lend Lease, the British Purchasing Mission to the USA, the Riviera Conference of August 1941 (leading to the Joint Declaration known as the “Atlantic Charter”), the Arcadia Conference of December 1941, and the Argonaut Conference of June 1942.
