These music periodicals from the Music Library of Leipzig, one of the leading music centres in Europe, will provide researchers with a vast source of previously untapped material vital for the study of Musicology and the History of Music.

Part 2 covers Music Almanacs and Yearbooks, 1815-1940, which tell us much about musical society in Germany from the Romantic Era through to the Second World War.  They include records of performances of opera, concerts and theatre, accounts of individual performers and groups, and detail the vast range of businesses which helped to support and promote music.  The full list of titles included is:
