NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT AFTER THE COLD WAR

Part 3: Archives of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, 2001-2005

This project is an essential source for all those libraries collecting in the area of peace studies. It will be of value to those working in the area of modern politics, pressure group tactics and popular opinion, and cannot be ignored by anyone concerned with issues arising from nuclear power and nuclear weapons in the period.

Issues in Iraq, Iran, Israel, Palestine and North Korea only served to highlight the need for continued vigilance concerning the proliferation of nuclear weapons and their potential use.

Environmental concerns have also served to put nuclear power back on the agenda.

These and other issues are faced by CND and this is reflected in their minutes, committee reports, conference papers, pamphlets, leaflets and periodicals – all of which are covered fully in this publication.
